Since the Can-Spam Act applies only to commercial sites, why are nonprofits limited by Constant Comment as to the people we send to? Isn't this violative of the principles of free speech? I understand that CC is a private business and can do whatever it wants, but to intimate that the Can-Spam Act covers political discourse or noncommercial fund-raising is just plain wrong.
