We are using the Constant Contact API over REST to add contacts to contact lists and update their details. Recently we switched the authentication to Basic over HTTPS and we would like a confirmation if it is the right approach:
all requests are sent over HTTPS with Basic authentication in place
the name space URIs were left unchanged
the contact and contact list IDs were left as they were (with "http" in front, e.g.: http://api.constantcontact.com/ws/customers/...)
We are specially worried about the third point. Is this correct? Or should we change the IDs to the "http" form too (the update contact method didn't work like this).
