Are you referring to survey responses? Unfortunately, if a respondent does close out of the survey page, their responses will be lost and they would need to start over upon returning. If the page is left for a long period of time with no activity, it might also time out on them. For this reason, it is usually best to keep your surveys on the shorter side, depending on their content.
