Hi @AnnetteD408. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I brought this up to our upper level of support who will review the wording on this page and make changes to it. It appears the text should only apply to those who are upgrading their accounts to Plus and therefore have a prorated fee but not those who are simply updating the card on file. If you are not changing your plan or have a hold on the account, there shouldn't be any change to pricing when updating. You can review your pricing through the Plans and Pricing link under your Profile in the top right corner of the page.
