Landing page formatting issues

I've been trying to create a landing page that uses our fonts, font sizes, and colors. I copy and paste from a doc into the landing page creator. In the creator the landing page looks good. When I go to preview the landing page, it looks good. But when I activate the landing page it loses all of the formatting. I've been told by customer support to try a couple things and they don't work either. It's been incredibly frustrating, never mind the fact it's difficult to create and format sections within Constant Contact. I've been told that this is a known issue and it's being worked on. Anyone else experiencing this? And is there a solution? I don't want to not create page that doesn't follow our branding guidelines. And our fonts are normal (Times New Roman, Arial Black and Arial).

I have been on chat with 3 different customer service folks and nothing has been resolved. I copy and paste text from a document into the Landing page creator. It looks fine. When I go to preview the landing page it looks fine. When I activate the landing page, it loses the fonts, colors, and stylings that I created. It's been extremely frustrating. When can this be fixed as it's a great feature (in concept) of Constant Contact.

Hello @FirstNameL669881 ,

The issue has already been tracked to your account, and is being investigated. If and when there's an update on the issue, the devs will notify you directly. However, unless you have new troubleshooting information for us to provide on those cases, there's nothing further we can do at our general support levels. At this time, we do not have a hard ETA on an update regarding the custom landing pages formatting issue.

The only workaround would be to create a brand new Custom Landing Page, then either:

  • Wholly purge all formatting of the text you want to bring in through a basic text-editing program (such as Notepad), and then copy from there to paste into the brand new landing page. Then format the text how you want from within the landing page's editor.
  • Manually type out and format the text from within the new landing page to begin with.

If none of the workarounds provided alleviate the issue for you, then there's not much else to be done at this time and you may not be able to use the custom landing pages as you need to.

This is extremely, extremely frustrating. I have manually typed everything as suggested above. When I preview the landing page, it looks fine. When I make it active, it switches everything to a different font. I think it's Arial. I am only using the fonts that are provided in the editor. Has any progress been made?

I am having the same issue.  I change fonts types in my landing page.  I then save and publish.  When you view the landing page live, all fonts are the same - Ariel.  I have tried exiting and re-saving.  I have tried changing fonts back to Ariel, then publishing.  Then editing again and changing the fonts to what I want to use.  Still all fonts are viewed on the live page as Ariel.

Attaching 2 screen shots:

1. Landing page in preview view.  Header first line font is Lucinda Sans Unicode.  Header second line font is Georgia.

2. Landing page in published live view mode.  Header - both lines look like Ariel.

Any workarounds or fixes would be much appreciated!  Thanks much - Jill
