Mobile vs Desktop Text Formatting Inconsistencies

Hi there,

I've noticed a lot of inconsistences between the Desktop version and Mobile version of our newsletters with text formatting. It looks fine on desktop, but text sizes in mobile (both in preview and received emails) vary from text box to text box.

I looked through an existing thread that suggested dragging a new text box and pasting the content there as a workaround. This does not work. I even tried typing out whole paragraphs in a new text box, and somehow the text still varies in the mobile preview and in test emails.

Please let me know if this can be fixed. Most of our readers read our newsletters on their mobile devices. It is quite frustrating.

Thank you kindly.

Hi !

Thanks for reaching out to the community! There are a few things that may be causing this, so we will need some additional information to troubleshoot this font size issue. Please try

  • reapplying the format using toolbar editor. If that does not work, recreate block

OR

  • Set font size to one step larger, save and exit, then come back in and set it to the correct height

If those wor5karounds don't work, please either call in to our Support team for on the spot troubleshooting 866-289-2101 or send us an email to social_support(at)constantcontact(dot)com with the following information:

  • Email Name
  • Mobile OS (iOS, Android)
  • The app you are using to read the email (default Android app, Gmail app, etc)
  • Screenshot of the mobile display
  • Did you copy/ paste the text from another source? (website, Word doc, etc)

Hi!

I'm having the same issue and none of the workarounds provided above seem to be working. Has anyone found a solution?

Thank you very much in advance :)!
