Resending an event invite to new contacts

why can't I send the invitation to new email addresses that were not on my initial invitation list? It seems like the only way I can do this is to copy the event email and send it separately to my additional folks. I found the option I want in knowledgebase for campaigns newsletters but not for campaign events. thank you

Hi @1shelterinc,

At this time, you cannot resend an already created and sent email to new prospective registrants. It would have to be copied and a list with the new registrants selected.
