I'm new to this so have a couple questions about client emails.
How does Constant Contact 'talk' to our programs and get all client emails? If a client is no longer with us for whatever reason how is their email removed?
Hello @NicoleD7095 ,
If a client is wishing to remove themselves from your mailing list it is best to have them unsubscribe from the footer within any email sent to them. By unsubscribing they are automatically removed from the active send list and placed in the unsubscribe folder where legally they can no longer receive emails. You can go into that unsubscribe folder and delete them from the account fully if you wish as well. If you are wishing to remove them from active mailings yourself you can either place that contact on a temporary hold and then remove that hold later on once you want them to start receiving again, or you can delete the contact manually from the system. However, the contacts themselves are not automatically deleted from the account for you. You do have to take action to remove them manually. I have provided you a knowledge base article here that goes over the different statuses and how to remove them from the account for you.
