Hello, As a fellow UI designer, I have some suggestions to improve the usability of the site. 1. While you were trying to create a "friendly" new design, it feels overly simplified and dumbed down. I had trouble finding the old design mode, now a toggle button called "Advanced". Its placement in the top right corner does not make sense. It should be located on top of the design functions. 2. On the campaigns screen, there is no longer a thumbnail of the campaigns. This is really helpful especially when a lot of campaigns are similar. 3. Design tools: it would be really helpful to have two campaigns open at the same time to be able to replicate the design, copy fields, etc. 4. Design tools: when choosing a fill color, sometimes I use variations of the same color, so it's hard to tell which recent color to match. How about hovering over the recent colors with their Hexadecimal value? It would also be great to have a color dropper for quick color matches. 5. Advanced design tools: it is hard to tell which fields are affected sometimes... as if I'm supposed to know the names of all the fields when making changes. What if the area of the original template thumbnail was highlighted when you clicked on that design field, ie. Featured Header, Featured Content. It would also be nice to know if my current design is using those fields... perhaps check marked? Or non-used fields are somehow grayed out but usable. Thank you, Kristy
I operate two different Constant Contact accounts and only one account has a new look. The new look is difficult to navigate, especially among sent emails. Thumbnails of sent emails are hugely helpful and I'm sorry we don't have the option to see them anymore.
The Campaign overview screen has a lot of wasted space and doesn't provide key needed info. So few campaigns are listed you have to scroll and scroll and scroll down. Irritating.
I can't tell what template is used for which campaign so it's tedious to try to find the right one to try to base a new email on... i.e. a brief update on a simple template or a complex newsletter on a multi-column template.
Thumbnail images of the campaigns are needed or at least be able to name the TEMPLATE used, not just the campaign name.
Why oh Why I have campaigns scheduled for the year 2016 -- I can no longer see the thumb nail preview The campaigns are not and can not be put in dated scheduled order Really poor judgement on CC employees and programers
Thanks for this feedback on the thumbnails, this is a good idea for the future. As for the scheduled date, you will see this (as long as the email is scheduled) but you will see "sent" or "created" if that better fits the status of the email. If you wanted to see just the scheduled campaigns you could do so by clicking the Status dropdown and then choose just scheduled. Once this was your view you do have sorting options on the right!
Please reinstate the feature where a thumbnail image appears next to each campaign on the 'Campaign' home page. This was a very important feature, as you could quickly browse the images when referring to past campaigns. Please bring this feature back! Thank you!!!
...so now the "Preview" of a previous campaign is actually a "Partial Preview" of a previous campaign. The scroll bar on the right side does not allow the user to scroll to the bottom of the email campaign piece. Just great. What genius designed that? ...or forgot to check it before launch? After weeks of advertising a new great change, this is what we get! I was kind of hoping that we'd be able to scroll thru all pages of contacts, check marking which ones we want to do something with, then executing that option at the end of all the contacts instead of having to execute the option page-by-page. Call me crazy, but that's what I'd call a great new improvement. Restricting previews to half previews just seems like a step backwards.
