Thank you for bringing this up. Gmail uses algorithms to determine which emails fall under which folders. However, we do have an FAQ that goes over this and also gives tips on how you and your contacts can avoid having the email always fall into the Promotions folder. Also note that if the contact moves your email to the Primary tab, it should fall under the Primary tab going forward.
