Please include an "exclude by tag" feature

When sending out an email blast, it would be very helpful to have an exclude by tag feature. This would allow us to exclude people who had already registered for a seminar so we do not re-invite them. It would also allow us to narrow down our list when sending emails by excluding a single tag instead of including many many tags (more efficient and faster).

This would indeed be very helpful. I used the same example in my question about it.

This seems like a pretty obvious "idea" that needs to be implemented. Segmentation logic really needs to be addressed in your system. Mailchimp is light years ahead of what yours currently offers, not only should you be able to segment based on excluding tags, but also profile fields and engagements as well such as opens, clicks etc...

Say I want to re-send an email to everyone that didn't open the previous email, right now it's a very very conveluted process of creating a new list based on what is in the report, but that could change while it's scheduled. Someone can open the email an hour before the new email is sent, in theory they would recieve the email again unless I create the list and don't schedule it and just send it right away.

The Constant Contact way seems to be creating a new list for just about every campaign, advanced segmentation logic would really simplify the need for creating new list all the time and would increase your customers time efficiency.

I agree. This is what is making us consider switching email marketing providers. This is a basic essential to email marketing.

When applying a list to a campaign and narrowing it with tags, it would be very helpful to be able to narrow the list by contacts that do not have a particular tag. Thank you!

I also have an account with one of your competitors and they have the ability to INCLUDE or EXCLUDE lists from a campaign. Very handy! Frankly I was surprised that with Constant Contact being such a leader in the email marketing realm that you wouldn't have such capabilities. Seems kinda behind the times, especially since your competitors do. Just my two-cents! - Jerry in Denver, CO

For example, I want to send to tags A and B, but I want to ensure tag C contacts don't receive the email.
