Unclear with "Export" instead of "Save As" in image editor

why is the background colored black in image editor? It's hard on the eyes... white background is less fatiguing on eyes. The help menu for image editor says there's a "save" function to save the edit work... no Save button found in image editor.

We can't guarantee a commitment to deliver on the idea but should indicate some awareness that we have heard your feedback and are continuing to collect both requests along with use case examples.  In the meantime, the workaround we suggest is clicking export and the changes will be saved as a new image.
