The EventSpot check-in app has been removed! Why on earth was no announcement made and why on earth would you simply remove a product so many use? Now we have to go back to paper? Seriously!
I left Eventbrite and moved everything to constant contact to have a one stop shop. Now you are throwing me back at eventbrite (which I don't like). I am really beginning to question why I am paying you guys!!!!
As anyone who started out with this company knows, we used to be able to order the various components à la cart: emails, events, surveys. Then they insisted that you order all of them together and raised the price. Now they keep the high price and tell us to go to our events with a competitor? Do they live in an alternate reality? We are hosting an event that we’ve been promoting using their event feature. Is this just going to disappear one day? This is crazy.
We host monthly meetings, but if registration is low, we're need to be able to communicate this to our caterers in a timely fashion, which often means when we are away from our desks. In this day and age, we should be able to see registrations and check people in with a mobile app. Basically, full event functionality on a mobile device. How can you complete without it?
We are working on an updated event experience in a more advanced tool. While we do not have an update or timeline to share or can guarantee any kind of commitment on how we will be handling event registrations and check-ins, we hope this indicates some awareness that we have heard your feedback and could be taken under consideration while we are building out this tool.
