Unable to continue when pasting email addresses into Add Multiple Contacts field

annoying.pngCopying and pasting could be convenient if your website were smart enough to ignore a space after one email address, instead of telling me that a space makes the preceding email address invalid, which it does not. This is quite annoying.

Hello @DanielG740,

Thank you very much for providing this feedback. This is something we've recently found as well and I've passed this along to our engineers. Until then, I have left this open for voting.

How many "votes" would it take to get a problem actually fixed?

Because this is not an experience that all users have we do have to troubleshoot on a case by case basis. Because of this we're updating the status of this idea to more accurately reflect the status of the idea with our engineering team. We can't guarantee a commitment to deliver on the idea but should indicate some awareness that we have heard your feedback and are continuing to collect for details on this experience. In fact we ask users who have this experience to email us at social_support(at)constantcontact(dot)com with your username, a reference to this post, and the following details:

  • What method was used to copy and paste the contacts? (control+c and control+v, or right click and copy/paste, or command click to copy and paste from the menu on a Mac)
  • Browser and version being used
  • Is the browser up to date?
  • Does working in incognito work?
