Upload Files distorts the image

When I browse to my image, it comes up on the screen (thumbnail) and looks great. Then, somewhere between "upload files" and "okay," the image becomes a big, black box. :(

I am sorry to hear this is happening. What browser/version are you working in when this happens? Also, what is the size and type of file you are uploading?
