Does it seem technologically backward to anyone else that Constant Contact does not provide an option to deliver content securely? I've just wasted 1/2 my afternoon on the phone trying to get a secure permalink to our emails so we can embed them in our website. We recently moved to a 100% secure site (full https for ever page on our domain), and our newsletters stopped working. Adding an 's' to 'http' didn't work, and after speaking with 2 individuals at Constant Contact support, who each spoke to "their technical support", I was told it can't be done. What?? I can't imagine we're the only one's wanting this. And I can't imagine how this hasn't come up before. So, my suggestion, or "idea", is to enable delivery of content over a secure connection. Make those short URLs (http://conta.cc/rAnD0m) work with https. Thanks.

Your rsvp option takes people to a Add to your Calendar option that is set on Eastern Time. This does not work for us being Mountain and it is confusing our participants. I have heard from others this has been an ongoing problem. If it is not resolve very soon we will have to discontinue our contract with you as it is causing us a lot of chaos with our invite list and time. Either the add to calendar must be disabled or you have to get your time zones right. I have been told by others this has been an unresolved problem for some time. We will wait until mid- November and then make a decision on our mail program.

A somewhat minor point (but not to a newbie) it is not obvious that I can't import the email address into a field other than the email address field. It seems as if this would show up as an error. Your system actually allowed me to import Name, Email address --> custom1, password --> custom 2, and I didn't see an error. I only saw that 0 records were updated / imported. There should be something that flags those batches / files that will result in no imports.

I would LOVE to see another column that shows the TAGS associated with each name that opens. I want to be able to see what regions of the country the viewer lives in or other designations I may tag them with. It would be nice to be able to sort the UNIQUE OPENS by tag. Your software could be made much more informative and therefore valuable to the subscriber than it is currently. - user since 2004 Sheri Myricks

One of our main use cases for CC is to create an Events email newsletter from the RSS feed of our Events Calendar. The old blog-to-email feature did this nicely, and we are continuing to use the old interface for now. If/when we have to double-enter everything for our email newsletter once the old interface is turned off, that would be a lot of extra work for us. Please bring this feature to the new interface before turning off the old one.

Can you please put back the option to copy and change the original name of a campaign when you copy it to create next. I have many campaigns that I do monthly and I copy the the previous month to keep some format. I used to be able to just change the month in the title cause it would auto fill with the same name. Then you changed it so the previous name was showing so I could highlight and copy and paste and change one word. Now nothing is there to copy and I have to retype the entire name of the campaign. Hi there. This is the second week I have tried to download a photo and edit it with your new system. I thought last week it was because the system was new and you were still working on it, but this week it still doesn't work. I get the photo fine, and push "edit" and can crop the photo like I want it, but there is a message that something went wrong each time. I would appreciate it more if it worked. I always send a test email to the same people to proof. It would be nice to be able to have those email addresses saved so I don't have to type them out each time. What can I say, I am lazy and a bad typer. Thanks! Sue

We recently had an issue where we were locked oput of our account because a user with memory issues mis-entered a password enough to trigger a password reset, but nobody got the reset e-mail. It turned out the e-mail listed for the account owner had been closed years ago. It would be great if CC could send a test e-mail to the address of record every year or two prompting the account owner to check that it is the most appropriate one, and if that reminder bounces as a totally NG address, post an alert to that fact on the log-in page. We had been logging in and using that account for years without knowing that the only contact e-mail for the account was a dead end.

I really need a link to resend to people and to share my autoresponder emails. One is provided for other email campaigns. To work around this is duplicating the email, publish it to a single person, then use that link.

I think we were able to do this not that long ago. It is very helpful when you have multiple text blocks with different links back to sales, etc. The reader of the email simply has to click and the subject line in the reply email is populated with a specific promotion, etc.

I would like an additional sort option added so that I have the ability to see ONLY my open Events. I would also like to be able to set a default sort so I don't have to change it every time. The new format is not as easy to read as the old format was.

Hello, I think your webinars are quite pricey and should be free for Email Plus users. This would also help you upsell your plans as people will pay more monthly knowing they will be getting free webinars. These webinars will not only increase your monthly revenue/subscriptions, but will in turn keep customers around longer instead of switching to other email marketing platforms like MailChimp who offer more features. Thank you!

The email template includes a drop down menu to choose country, and mandatory is the postal code. We are in United Arab Emirates (UAE), we dont have postal codes here. Strange but true So the address on our email reads a fictitious postal code 11111 so we can complete the form - and doesn't gain us credibility. IDEA: Please remove postal code for countries that dont use them. (Is the UAE the only country that doesn't use the codes?)

Couple of suggestions on the new layout editor for Emails: When you make bulleted items and want to indent the following rows, such as: Item 1 List of stuff It will not allow you to do that... Also, we prefer the way it used to be that you could insert pictures into the text boxes. It makes it a lot easier to lay out the email. Just our thoughts, after a million years of Constant Contact experience. thanks, Jordan

The first (and sometimes 2nd and 3rd) time we click the number of "unique clicks" to view who is actually clicking our campaign links, the results come back as zero. After clicking several times, we can see the results. Results should load the first time.

I'm very disappointed in the new "improved" layout of CC. Why did you take away the feature of listing all scheduled event emails in one list? I used to be able to click on scheduled to see all my emails. Now I have to go into each individual event, click on emails, write down dates I scheduled and keep a paper list on my desk to check off that I did the email, the date it's scheduled for, etc. so I don't send multiple event emails on the same day. I have 12 events I just created (and will be creating 12 more in a few months) and this is going to be way more work than it needs to be. Why did you take that feature away? Very disappointing!

Would you please separate Business-to-Business and Business-to-Customer in your averages when it comes to Open and Click-Through Rates? I would like, one, to not have my B2B combined with my B2C, and I would like to compare likes to likes for statistical open and click-through rates. Our business falls within the manufacturing category. My Retail open rates are fairly high. My Reseller (business customers, of which I have 2 segments) rates are just fine, too. However, it seems to me they are apples to oranges in the view you are providing. Would it not be a quick checkbox to ask if one email is for B2B and another for B2C? Then, these emails could be filtered by which box I've checked for reporting purposes? Thanks so much! -- Linda at Hock Tools
