How to Leverage Shopify in your Marketing

make it easier to have the correct image dimensions when posting to both Instagram and Facebook

When posting to both Facebook and Instagram, the image ratios are really different, it doesn't really make sense to use the same image dimensions. If we could use the square format for Instagram, and then drag the image so that where facebook crops, we could control that - that would be really useful.

Hello @JenniferT86424 ,

Could you please elaborate on what it is you're looking to do for social posts? Between our main article on image sizing for different social platforms, instructions for adding variations in the main Create a Social Post article, and the available pre-portioned "Facebook" crops available in the image editor, are you able to understand what steps need to be taken to setup your social posts with correct image sizes?

Are you needing additional pointers in the social tool on how these different platforms function with image sizing, or do you need the "Create Variations" button highlighted when adding images as part of your social post?
