Ability To Edit Saved Templates

0 Votes

I would recommend adding a seperate section under EMAILS where a user can edit their templates. Instead of creating a new email, using the template, and saving it as a new template, then deleting the old one. This would allow a user to manage their templates and be able to edit or delete them directly, without the unnecessary steps taken to do so.

Hello @SayfM ,

Can you elaborate on where in the account you're referring to having this functionality added, or provide a screencap? Are you referring to copying from previous email campaigns, or purely under the Create dropdown? If you're wanting to use a particular template design, have you saved it as a reusable template, so it's available on the template selection screen when creating a new email?

Hi William,

I don't necessarily have a preference for where it goes but to have it as a separate option for editing. I have a template that is saved, but that's my point, if I want to edit the template, i need to 1) create a new email 2) use the template 3) save as a new template 4) delete the old one to avoid duplicates.

Similar to other email marketing platforms, it would be nice to have a designated section just for templates.

Thank you for providing the clarification on what you're referring to. We're updating the status of this idea to more accurately reflect its current status with our engineering team, and also made slight changes to the subject line in order for it to be more easily found. We can't guarantee a commitment to deliver on this feature request, but it should indicate some awareness that we have heard your feedback and could be taken under consideration for a future release.

Thank you for suggesting this. It is so unnecessarily cumbersome to have to go back to the original email draft, edit it, save it as a template, then delete the old template, then any draft emails I'm using I have to manually make changes in there as well. In an older email system I used, you could edit the saved template AND there was an option to update any draft emails using that template with your changes. Also, I'm not able to edit or save changes for using the h2 font format in templates.
