Automatically send SMS code during MFA login

Why wait to send the code for a button push? Why not just send it automatically? And how can I turn this off?

Every single time we need to verify our Constant Contact account, it is confusing. This is because you put the text box to enter the code BEFORE the box to send the code. It would be dramatically simplified and far less frustrating if the "send code" box was to the left of the "enter code" box. So many programs send the code automatically that this is not intuitive.

Hi @RanC654. Thank you for your feedback! I can certainly see how this would be less confusing when signing in using MFA. I'll go ahead and mark this acknowledged.

Hi @DianaS415. Thank you for the idea! I'll go ahead and mark this as Acknowledged. For account security, MFA is required for all accounts and it cannot be turned off.

Hi! Thank you for accepting feedback!

When I sign in, I am asked to provide a verification code via text message to my phone.

The "Send Text" button is on the right side of the area where you submit the verification code.

Most English-language users view a page from left to right. Therefore, steps of action should be ordered from left to right.

The past few times I've logged into Constant Contact, I wait a minute or two before realizing I never sent the text message to my phone, because in the left-to-right scheme, the authorization code box comes before the "send text" button. So in my mind, I'm waiting for a code to put it in, and after getting the code, I would then move on to the right and press the blue button (which says "Send Text", but who actually reads what the button says??)

My suggestion is to put the "Send text" button to the left of the verification code box, and then on the next screen, after the code is texted, put the "Verify" button to the right of the verification code box.

Thanks for listenening!
