Multi-User: Ability To Have Multiple Account Owners

Hello,

It has come to my attention that when needing to transfer roles among users that you are supposed to update the account instead of changing the role the user has.

 

It would be easier to manage when an organization needs to change account owners or an role that the current account owner can transfer the role to an existing user instead of erasing all the current owners details and forcing them to make a new account.

 

The purpose of having accounts is so that things can be tracked, so it doesn't make much sense to me to have an entire account updated instead of the account role moving.

 

Additionally, you should be able to have more than one account owner, so there isn't a bottle neck in smaller organizations.

We can't guarantee a commitment to deliver on this feature request, but it should indicate some awareness that we have heard your feedback and could be taken under consideration for a future release.

 

Please note, this thread is explicitly for having the ability to set multiple users as Account Owner permission levels,. Please note that account owner permissions include the ability to access and manage the account's billing info, view and manage other users, and handle other particularly sensitive account and contact elements.

If your account's owner is no longer with your organization, you need a new owner setup or a user elevated to the account ownership role, and you do not have access to the login info and email inbox for the owner login, please call our general support to setup an account ownership transfer case. For account security protocols, these generally have a 4 business day turnaround, to ensure the currently-set owner is not disputing this change.
