Adding a guest to an event registration

With the new builder, it looks like you can only add additional attendee details if you add "tickets". Are there any updates to come in the beta builder rollout that will allow for a simple solution to adding a guest and collecting the different details needed for each attended? (I.e. not requiring all questions for both, only collecting some questions for the second guest, etc.) Also, when requiring the details for both attendees, having the contact details requested twice for the primary registrant without being able to edit the text fields can lead to some confusion.

Hello @ChadC31 ,

At this time, if you're needing to collect guest numbers and information, they need to be separate tickets in the event. If you want to have names and other info for the guests, you need to configure your form to collect info for each attendee.

We are having the same issue.  We have tickets for each level and the form setup to collect info for each attendee but it is not.  It is just giving the same name as the primary registrant. For the second guest on the same ticket, we are getting info like this: Complimentary Guest • utmisb

This is an issue on the Free tickets.

We are having the same issue - not very user friendly. There is way less flexibility in building event pages also (ie breaking apart the Event block or changing font size).
