I've tried a number of times unsuccessfully to crop an image. I select the image editor, transform and adjust the size. I then select export, and the original image is saved in it's original dimensions! The Canva integration doesn't work either when it comes to cropping... what's going on here? Why have an image editor that you can't edit in?
Hello @JulianaR ,
Have you tried clearing your cache, quitting out of your browser, and then going back in to see if that alleviates the issue of seeing the same image without the edits?
For example, when I'm looking in your Library on my end, I'm seeing the original Canva versions of several images that have whitespace at the top and bottom, but then an edited version with those significantly reduced via cropping (their sources will show as 'My computer'). I also tested the image editor as well, and my changes were reflected in the CSCTEST version of that image.
Hi William, I cleared my cache and am still having the same problems. The edited versions of the Canva images that you're seeing already cropped were downloaded from Canva by me and uploaded to Constant Contact by me as well. That's why they're from my computer.
I have attached 2 screen recordings illustrating the issues I'm having with images, particularly the inability to crop and image within Canva and then the inability to crop an image in the image editor. You'll not that I export cropped images only to have the same image saved.
Then I'd advise performing further connectivity troubleshooting, because I'm wholly unable to recreate the issue you're experiencing on my end. This is indicating some element of your browser, device, or network is interfering with the functionality of the image editor from saving properly, or from the Library properly displaying the edited image.
Keep in mind that the exports from the image editor will also have a source of 'My Computer,' just like my CSCTEST was.
