Help is not helpful

I posted a question seeking help on why my template kept editing itself every time I clicked on something to edit it (the layout would change from a single column to being two columns and interrupt the flow of the entire layout). Matthew responded by attributing it to connectivity issues (which I don't think it is) and archived the post immediately so I can't respond. Additionally, there is no way to get in touch with him. Perhaps instead of archiving it immediately and offering no way of return communication, help personnel could simply respond and ask if the offered solution helped the client.

Hello @GSProvost ,

Please try the suggested troubleshooting in the previous response. If you can't find the automated @ mention email that was sent to your account address, please refer to the Connectivity FAQ. I performed several tests and was unable to recreate what you described, which indicates it's something more localized to your device, network, etc. As the issue is likely connectivity-based, your original post was archived to the Connectivity FAQ, just like other threads that involve FAQs such as MFA, Billing, etc.

If none of the provided troubleshooting in the initial response or Connectivity FAQ alleviated the issues, please call our general support number so they can continue troubleshooting with you live. If possible, please have a screenshot of your speed test, including the More Info section, ready for the phone agent.

Another element that may be at play, even if I wasn't able to recreate from my end, if is that if you regularly copy emails from previous copies, it can start to build up junk coding. After several generations of copies of copies of copies (and so on), it can result in erratic coloring, text, and overall block behavior.

This can typically be resolved by simply removing the affected block entirely, however the best solution (if this is indeed the situation you're running into) would be to only copy directly from a base master template you've made from scratch each time. Copying directly from a singular source that was setup on its own will avoid these potential coding mutations.

This is with a brand new template that came from the stock templates offered by Constant Contact. To be exact, it's the newsletter for small businesses.
