How to add Bluesky in the social block on email campaigns?

Seems like there is a variety of social media platforms listed in the Social Follow Settings for the email templates - but no Bluesky (https://bsky.app) - when will CC add this option? I'd rather not add a lot of icons and links myself, CC will hopefully deliver that soon?

Update Dec 5, 2024: Locking comments since the current workaround has been provided, and we have an existing Idea thread for this request. If you have use cases and/or wish to vote on the addition of Bluesky elements for social inbox and the social follow block, please do so via the linked Idea thread.

Hello @HansR02 ,

I'd recommend this Product Ideas thread, where you can vote and provide a use case comment if you have one available for development of either a social inbox integration or social follow block icon for Bluesky.

If the platform you're wanting isn't available in the social bar, you'd need to upload the icon as an image, then add and link that in your email.

CC needs to add Bluesky in the social follows settings! Facebook, Instagram OK, Linkedin has become such a self congratulatory troll site it's lost most value. Clients are moving off X for obvious reasons of hate speech, lies, all the isms - it's a toxic mess that continues to devolve. Bluesky is becoming a favored and safe social platform, CC should make this available soon, uploading social icon images to link to as a band-aid solution is not great design or tech innovation.

@William_A

I did end up with a workaround by using the link bar (5 columns) and then inserting custom icons (see picture below).

But I would prefer CC adding Bluesky as standard option to the social media bar and also considering refreshing this in general (add Threads and make it easier to add custom options). @EZEdgerider is spot-on: Bluesky is seeing a huge uptick and CC should react quickly, especially since this should be an easy change.
