Understanding email authentication

So, If I add the cname records as suggested by Constant Contact, and then try to send mail from my regular domain email account, won't it come through as being unauthenticated? There must be another way...

That's not how it works, but if you're particularly concerned, I'd advise reaching out to our Delivery team to go over the more extreme technical details.
