I'd be happy to share with you thoughts about marketing effectively. Please provide details about your business, what you offer and who is your typical customer.

I'd also suggest that marketing is expensive when it's not done well, leading to a negative or poor ROI. Marketing is an investment, and when well executed, leads to revenue. It would be very challenging for a  business to grow without marketing.
