The process to resubscribe contacts is available directly in your account. Following these steps your contact will receive a Confirmed Opt-in email where they will need to click a link in order to confirm their interest. As soon as the contact clicks the link in the email, you will be added back to the lists you've selected. We do however want to mention it's important for this resubscribe process to be started only for contacts who specifically asked to be re-added.

is old and not accurate. There is no unsubscribe button.

It appears your account is part of our contacts redesign beta. I'd recommend creating a Lead Generation Landing page, and providing the unique share link for that to the contact needing to be resubscribed. That way they can manually resubscribe themselves.
