Can you add back the option to start an automation by uploading a list instead of requiring a contact to fill out a form. We do not use the forms in constant contact and would prefer to add contacts to the automation by uploading them ourselves in batches.

Hello @AndreaM738 ,
You can do this in both the older automation series for List-Join triggers, and in the newer automation paths using a custom path with Add-to-Specific-Lists as the trigger. You'd need to have the list(s) at least created in your Constant Contact account first, then activate the automation you have set to trigger from additions, and then import your contacts to the specified list(s).

Hi William,
I could not find the option for Add-to-Specific-Lists as the trigger. I tried using what was available, but the only trigger option I could find was Trigger: Subscribes for email which requires contacts enter their info into a constant contact form. When I called customer service, they were not able to help me either. So decided to post it here. If you can advise further -- that would be appreciated.
Edit Sept 18, 2023: List-Join has been made available for the newer APB system again.

My apologies, it appears the engineers have temporarily disabled this option in the APB while they resolve another issue related to it. When the original issue is resolved, that custom list-add option will be made available again. In the meantime, the workaround would be to use the older automation series.
