Hello!
I am asking for advice on how to insert HTML code into an email? We are a no-profit and it appears there is no where for me to put my coding.
Thank you.
Hello @JackC721. We do not have an update to share surrounding this request. We have an open idea on our Feedback board that you are welcome to vote on or leave a comment. If we have updates to share, they will be posted on that post, not here in the support boards. As a note, typing out a phone number in an email will often appear as a clickable link when the email is viewed on a mobile device.
Hi @BBBSLR
Thank you for reaching out to the Community! The good news is you can insert your own HTML in a Custom Code Campaign. You can access this Custom Code Editor through the Create button under your Campaigns tab.
Once you click Create, you will get a pop-up where you must select Email.
This will then bring you to our template selector where you can choose Custom Code.
Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist with in your account. We're always happy to help point you in the right direction.
Thanks but this doesn't say what to do after step 4.
Is it necessary to use a template this way to get the HTML link or is it possible to create a HTML link for an email that was created through your regular templates?
Hi @Adrianne. I'm not sure I understand what you are asking. If you are looking for the coding for a Constant Contact campaign that was created in your account, this is not accessible to our customers. Please let us know if you are looking for something different.
I think the question is, how do I insert an HTML code segment into an existing campaign email ... it seems Constant Contact doesn't offer this feature as does ... why is that? I just want to see the HTML code for my email and edit that code / insert an HTML segment into the HTML of the existing email without creating an entire HTML email.
just like you can in ..
or maybe a building block for code?
Hello @SlowFoodEE,
Thank you for the suggestion! I will gladly submit this feedback over to our engineers. In the meantime, please use our Custom Code editor. Thanks!
Any Updates on this feature?
I need html block just like how text block, image block, button block etc.
I want to insert html code within the email builder.
For example, I want to add click to call button
I just want to add this code <a href="tel:4151234567">Call</a>
Juts because of this, I can't create entire custom code in a separate campaign.
