Our former business has closed but many of those customers wish to remain in touch via a monthly newsletter.
Can I upload them directly as all have subscribed via Opt-In to our previous weekly newsletter?
They have been archived from that previous Marketing Company.

Yes, you're allowed to import contacts that were subscribed to you while using another service. Once you have the contact file, I'd recommend checking its formatting, then importing it into your Constant Contact account.
