Is there anyway to insert a *curtly* quotes or apostrophe in the headline?
Hello @AnneR487 ,
This isn't something that can be controlled within the email builder, the text formatting for the header is just going to adapt to whatever the recipient has set up as a default or preferred font type.
William,
I am not talking about a font type but those curly quotes where I used to put in html code for them.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
You can either copy and paste them or use a font that contains them. If you're using the custom code editor, make sure to use the correct coding for this purpose. If you're having trouble getting your custom code email to function properly with an apostrophe or quotation in the header/subject line, please reach out to our Tier 2 custom code support team for help. While we cannot help with writing the entire code for your email, the Tier 2 team can offer basic troubleshooting and identify any overlooked mistakes.
William,
I am talking about in your email editor. I know how to put a typographer's quotes in html editor.
All the fonts have an option for the curly quotes. But on your WYSIWYG email editor it shows up as a straight quotes. it's not a problem in the text but in the headline it looks unprofessional.
And I do not think I can copy and paste quotes as an image within a text do I?
Is this something Tear 2 folks can help me on your email editor?
Thanks.
Hello @AnneR487 ,
If you can find the desired curly quotes online as text, then you can copy them. Our tier 2 would not be able to assist with putting curly quotes into your email. If you cannot find a source of the curly quotes that can be copied into the email builder, and that will properly display in email programs / apps, then they simply won't be available.
