New Idea
In the new format, it appears that only the last 50 campaigns are in the Reporting tab and exportable. Am I missing something to make more show up? This will be very problematic from an analytics standpoint. Our last 50 campaigns only go back two months. I relied on this feature for reporting to bosses, our Board of Directors, etc. for the previous year.
Hi It seems really odd that Constant Contact does not provide the ability to see list growth by time period. I sign up for the weekly emails for the numbers subscribed to our account as a whole but that is a very poor relation to the sort of reporting that would be useful to us - which would be something that allowed us to see adds and removes by each mailing list by time period so as to see what promotions were working best. - By list - Over a customizable time period - Showing adds, removes and net - By day, week, month Thank you

Export Unsubscribe reasons

I'd like to be able to see unsubscribe reasons in one download, sortable by date. As it works right now, I have to click into 50 campaigns separately and download results for each one. Then, I have to go back within a month and redownload, to see recent additions to each unsub list.

Please allow the Reporting tab to pull any dates you would like not just the last 50 emails.

The major changes you made to the Reporting tab have taken away the metrics that were helpful. Why can I no longer see a chart with our subscriber growth over time? I want the "Contact Growth" report chart back and all the other charts you have removed. I am **bleep**. This has screwed me over. And why can I only get info for "the last 50" I sent? Ridiculous! I should be able to select a date range. I do year end reports and I need the info for the entire year.

Thank you for the feedback @ONLC

Your voice has been heard!  As of this week the Contact Growth chart has been added back to all Constant Contact accounts.

Thank you again for the feedback.

Best

The email reports used to show what percentage of people viewed the email on a computer vs viewing it on a tablet/phone. Can you please add that back in?

Hello @ModernShoe!

Thank you for providing your feedback! Currently, we offer the desktop vs. movile open rates on your Reporting tab for the 50 most recently sent campaigns. We are tracking a feature request to bring this back to individual campaigns. We will open this thread up for voting to get more tracks!

New Design is Terrible

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go back to the old navigation/design. This new site is truly difficult to navigate. Events are not in order- even after selecting desired order. Events should be seperated from emails. This is such a dissapointment.

The reporting feature is really great and includes a lot of good information about the last 50 campaigns. But we are trying to work on improving our open rate with better subject lines but right now, I have to export the csv file from reporting then manually enter the subject line for each of the campaigns listed. Would be great if that was automatically included. Seems like other people would want it as well, because as we all know a good subject line is key to getting a good open rate.

Thanks!

I often have to refer back to previous campaigns and the extra step to open the entire list is a waste of time and big pain.

Reports

It would really help to be able to run reports on the results of different campaigns. For example, we send out a newsletter monthly, I would like to be able to run a report on the past 3 newsletters and see who opened them each month. Cannot get that info now.

Before we upgraded to the "new" interface, we were able to track mobile vs. desktop open rates for each campaign. Now, the functionality has been removed and replaced with an average over the last 50 campaigns. That is NOT helpful!!!

Analytics by Contact List

It would be helpful to access data about the engagement of individual contact lists. Info such as open and unopened rates, click through rates, and best subject lines by contact list would be valuable to track how our various nonprofit constituencies respond to our communications. Thank you for the great work you are doing by offering a valuable email marketing product through Constant Contact!

Very disappinted to see that the Reporting feature of being able to see at any given point in a month where your list growth and unsubsribes went. This feels like a huge step backward to me. A company isn't just focused on one campaign but being able to look at development of list over a period of time. Especially when we use other software and have new contacts integrated into our CC lists. Hope that you add that reporting feature back in and put more focus on reporting, as without anlayzing data we can't improve.

Why are the categories of spam and forwards no longer on the reports?

I also miss being able to see the information in Reporting on how we have improved (or not) on our Open, Click, etc. rate that used to be listed on bottom of that page. It listed over all improvement rate and for the last 3 months. That was helpful to our marketing so we could know if we were doing things that continually led to improvements overall on our email outreach. Would like to see that feature put back.

I'd like the capability to select an email and generate an excel report that reports the outcome for each recipient such as received, opened, clicked, bounced, unsubscribed. I currently have to do these seperately and it would be more beneficial to have 1 report.

Printing Statistical Reports

The print function on the reporting page is not user friendly like it was in the past. Why did you change this? It makes it hard to share stats with client. It does not print good either. I have been a CC user for over 12 years. Why do make changes that are not functional.

Thank you for the feedback @MadelyneL,

I want to understand your feedback a little better.

Which page are you printing your reports from?  What pieces is the new functionality missing that is making it difficult for you to share?

Best,

Patrick

Reports on individual contacts

thank you for the annual review. it was great to see the top 5 contacts. I'd like to see more of that type of report. Specifically, I would like a report that would tell me how often a contact opens and or clicks on links. How can we make this happen?

Data Analysis

by AnthonyF0 on ‎09-29-2016 04:34 PM
I have been looking for ways to analyze the data that is collected from the various emails that we have sent out. Specifically, I am looking to see, in a large excel list, a complete list of all of my contacts with information on how many times they have opened emails and how many times that have clicked through emails. After speaking to Debbie, one of your amazing customer service representatives, I know that this is not a feature that you currently provide. I am wondering if it would be possible to eventually consolidate the data being collected each time an email is sent into a larger pool of data that can be analyzed and searched. Thank you for all of your help.

So far, not a fan. Show me how many I sent to, not just the open stats (on the "home"?? page). Don't make me scroll past your imposed metric reports to see the actual stats. Not having a lot of luck using the tab key, which is how real people use the desktop version. And I'm wondering how accurate the open / bounce stats are - in the past, I had to manually refresh each line to get the real info (which meant something was programmed really really dumbly in the back end). Now I don't see a way to refresh each line of stats, so I have to assume, but without a lot of confidence, that the info is right.
