Please add more options for social media such as an RSS feed (blog) and Houzz (interior design specific). In addition, please "lock in" the social media icons per email campaign. For example, I create email campaign 1 and set up the social media icons. Then I create email campaign 2 with the social media icons linking to different social sites. As soon as I save the social media profile for email 2 it changes the social media links in email 1. This is VERY frustrating as we have 6 different brands that we send emails out for and we cannot use our email templates due to this issue.
We tried to create our own social media icons by using images however, we cannot place more that two images side by side like we could in the old interface. Also, please put back the ability to add a table into the new user interface - you took away this feature! Having the ability to add a table would allow me a workaround to my first issue. UGH! Very frustrating - this is making us re-consider our decision to use Constant Contact for our email campaigns.
I would LOVE the ability to have a button on each newsletter story allowing our readers to share individual stories to their own social networks -- Google+, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc. Possible?
Hi Constant Contact, the new system now includes social share links mandatory at the top of individual email archive linked copy, unlike the previous system which did not. For our use, we need to NOT have social links on selected archived emails, so please remove these OR add option to remove them. Otherwise we cannot continue to use CC after several years & need to move to a different email marketing service ASAP. Thanks, Matt
under "Having trouble viewing..." are the social link buttons. I didn't realize that if clicked on you can share. A great enhancement would be to make the button say share. Example: "F share" so the Facebook button would actually have the word share in it.
Hello. Our organization has over 20 social media accounts (and growing) associated to Constant Contact. When I create an email blast and want it to autopost on our social media, all of our accounts are already checked on that post. I have to go in and uncheck all of the accounts I do not want that message to post on (example, an email blast specific to our popcorn fundraising does not need to post on our Facebook page about Pinewood Derby). To make it even more time consuming, once I've unchecked the first visible 5 checkboxes, I scroll down to numbers 6-10, uncheck #6 and it bumps me back to the top. So I can only uncheck the top 5 at one time, then the remaining ones have to be unchecked one at a time. Overall, it takes me 5-8 minutes, PER EMAIL BLAST to schedule social media posts. All I want is to have the list be UNCHECKED to begin with so I can select which social media accounts I want each email to post on. This won't affect people that only have 1-2 accounts. But, we have a newsletter that goes out monthly to 12 different districts. That's 12 different newsletters every month. That newsletter only gets posted on ONE social media account. It doesn't go out to all 12 districts, just to the district it pertains to. So when I'm scheduling 12 newsletters, with 12 different social media accounts, I've lost 60-90 minutes of work time to just schedule the post on social media. PLEASE PLEASE fix this!!!
when it comes to social share you only allow links back to the email it is related too, however it would be very useful to be able to schedule posts not all related to the emails you are sending (because you are going to be posting more often than you are sending emails - obviously).
