In the regular email builder, you can toggle automated margins for images. For step-by-step and visual guidance on inserting and formatting images in emails, I'd recommend the following articles (also available via the Help tab in your account):

These were the two that solved the issue in tandem:
1st: Remove the padding.
2nd: But you will not see the change until you resize the image to maximum.

I found this question and somewhat a solution... Remove the Constant Contact logo from campaign footer What the solution does not indicate is as to why we have to call support to have this block removed, why it is not editable by the user within the interface. The unanswered question, when to call support? I do not not want this in any of my emails, so is the support call to remove the Constant Contact promotion a global solution? And the obvious question, do i call before I send the emails to my contacts?

I am an experienced graphic designer and have similar design / setup interfaces, such as Constant Contact. Try as I might I am unable to get an image to run to the outer edge, of the sent email, there is always a margin to the left and right. In general, there appears to be little control over spacing within a block, text or images.
