Sigh...this is happening again. I noticed it the evening of 5/25. I was copying a prior campaign and noticed that the editor had switched from the old to the new AND I can no longer scroll my library when I am searching for a specific folder for a specific image. Please get someone working on this!

Next to the library search box, you can select "Advanced". In that expanded menu, you can select a date range to view. Gotta admit, the date selection is rather clunky to use.

I have noticed the same thing. I test my emails in Outlook, Comcast email and Gmail. It is amazing how formatting changes in each. Add in mobiles (Mail, Outlook, Gmail) and it makes your head spin. I have finally decided to limit myself to ensuring that my emails don't blow up for the most part and call it good. Some things I can never get right across all platforms.

We have an email that goes out each week with that week's store special. I simply copy over the last email and edit the text. So much quicker than the whole template process.

Add my vote to be able to permanently delete campaigns. I have some test campaigns that I created for my boss to pick a layout from. I no longer need the old campaigns and would like to permanently delelte them.

You cannot get library subfolders with when using the standard Replace function in newer Campaigns. It is still functional in older Campaigns.

AAAHHH....that helped a bit. Difference between old and new templates: Old simply has an item called "Featured Articles" under the Design tab which controls BOTH the background of a Featured Block AND Borders. The name is not intuitive in the least. New has "Feature Layout Background" and "Article Layout Border" under the Design. This makes more sense. PS: Something that always drove me nuts when I first started with CC - there are no names associated with the block and layout icons in the Build tab in the old templates. Newbies have no way of knowing what each block is. At least in the new templates, the block and layout icons have names.

If you are using an older Campaign template, the prebuilt layout block that has the image with a border, does not work. There is no border. It inserts a layout that looks identical to the layout block without a border. How do you get a border when using the older Campaign template?

This is a Campaign that I started from a blank template. I was testing this to see if I could see all the images. I attempted to insert our company logo into the Campaign. All the drop down would display is the last few library image folders. The sub folders do not display. Will this be fixed soon?

Same complaint as notinCA - if I am using a newer email template, I can only see the LAST 5 image folders. If it is an older version of an email template, I can see all image folders and sub-folders. WTH did the programmers do now! All I need is one stinking image. Now I am going to need to find it and upload it again just to be able to get my email out on time. What a PITA! Please fix this - you managed to fix it when you could only see the first 6-7 folders w/o subfolders. This is a major hassle to those of us working on time constraints with holiday emails.

Seriously? How hard is it to move the test message to the top of the campaign? As Marissa_M said, thanks for always listening to your customers. I wish we could thumbs down this response so that CC would get feedback on the response not to implement this change.

One other workaround - if you know WHEN you created a campaign, you can use Calendar view to get to the month/year and find the campaign. I have done this to find specific holiday campaigns to update. We seem to have a lot of them to work on at the moment - Halloween, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Shop Small Saturday and our 12 Days of Christmas Deals.

See my comment above - You can rename your folders - preface with A, B, C or 1, 2, 3 to have the folders you want to see come up first. That only works if you have very specific folders you want to see. It's a PITA, but works.

I am trying to add an account manager. However, the account manager only has a personal phone and will not add it for SMS verification (nor will I ask them to do so) . Surely there needs to be a better way. Why not email?

I agree this is very frustrating. My only thought of a work around (and what a PITA option) is to go into manage folders and rename them so that the folders you wish to view appear first. You could at least select the folder (I would think). We shouldn't need to do that but if Constant Contact isn't working on this, then we may need to. For example - my folders are filed by year, with subfolders beneath. I have renamed my 2022 folder to 1-2022 and it and its subfolders all appear. However, I am still limited by how many folders/subfoldlers will display and I still cannot scroll.

I must say "If and when there's an update regarding it, they'll notify you directly" is not a reassuring response. I sincerely hope this issue is resolved. Afterall, it worked in the past. Is there a relationship between being abe to scroll through subfolders in campaigns and subfolders in the image library? Both have problems. Perhaps similar bad code was used to "upgrade" the software?

Names of files are NOT the issue. The issue is that I have a treed structure with folders & subfolders. While the subfolders are visible in the library, they are NOT visible in the NEW editor when trying to access the images from the editor - either from the image menu drop down or via replacing the image using the library pop-up. For campaigns that are still using the old editor everything functions with no change and I can see and select files from my subfolders when I access them as you stated above. Please see the screen shots below.

I have noticed the same issue. Luckily, our emails are short and sweet, so not a lot of effort going into reformatting the text - but that doesn't mean that CC shouldn't have that functionality. It's very annoying!

I inherited this account. I spent much time organizing over 1500 images into folders and subfolders. Many do NOT have individual unique names. Why would I want to undo all the work and move the images to folders? I have a product gallery of many items we carry in our store. I do not want every product lumped in one folder called products. Why would you suggest something that takes a step back from a functionality that you had previously?

I can no longer access my library subfolders when attempting to add images to my email. I can see my folders, but no longer can see subfolders. This worked 95% of the time in the old editor. I have tried multiple computers, an ipad and in both Chrome and Firefox. Why was this functionality removed? When will it be fixed?

Chiming in as another user NOT happy with the lack of response by ConstantContact to this barrage of complaints by users. Our company's needs are relatively simple. When I took over doing the emails, there was a bit of a learning curve. Now I have a template built and can set up our very simple weekly promotion email. That was....until the latest editor update. PLEASE fix this! or rollback the editor until you do.

My update hit yesterday. While in my Library I can see all my subfolders. However, when I am editing my email and try to add an image, I can see my folders, but no sub-folders. That isn't acceptable.
