Constant Tips: Leverage Seasonal Holidays for Marketing

Every Tuesday (usually) we'll share tips, tricks, and insights on using Constant Contact and online marketing.

I’m a bit late on this one, because it is April 1st already (how are we in April already?). However, thanks to inspiration from Abigail St Jean, it would still be a good opportunity to talk about how you can leverage seasonal holidays for marketing opportunities.

Seasonal marketing beyond major holidays, like celebrating April Fool's Day, can add a fun, engaging element to small business and nonprofit strategies. These opportunities allow you to connect with your audience in unexpected ways, boost social media engagement, and create memorable brand experiences.

It's a chance to show your personality, run unique promotions, or simply offer lighthearted content that resonates with your community.

Have you ever considered using April Fool’s Day to promote your products or services? What fun or funny idea did you have to engage your audience? Or perhaps there are other holidays that resonate more with your audience and your brand.

It doesn’t even have to be about promotions; maybe your newsletter just happens to land on a specific holiday. How would you tailor that content to reflect the spirit of the day? These are the kinds of creative opportunities that seasonal marketing beyond the big holidays can offer.
