Hi Nick,
I work for a Non-Profit called Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County. We do a lot of community work and really work to serve our county. We do gardening events, marine events and even hold a Farmer's Market. I have been working for this company as a Social Media Specialist for 7 months now. I post constantly on all four of our accounts and across Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, and Twitter. Most of my content comes from my coworkers. They send me events they want to promote and things they got up to and I make that into a post. Sometimes they send a flyer, sometimes I make the flyer. We have a decent following and posts generally do okay, but can vary from 2 likes to 20. There really is no consistency and I can't manipulate content so much to cater to my audience since I need to equally promote each program. I attached the link to forms to give a better idea of what we deal with. Our Instagram is @ccenassau and our Facebook is Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County. Please let me know if you need anything else from me. Thank you for your assistance and an informative webinar today! -Duke

Hi Duke!
I love the amount of thought you've put into this. Thank you for sharing!
You do have a lot of content about events, it's possible it might be overwhelming to your audience.
I'd suggest organizing this a little differently, understanding that you need to promote all of these great events.
Your likes and shares for the 3 months you put into the worksheet are good, but I think you can improve them with some tweaks.
I would think about using Facebook's Event feature to mainly have your calendar of events there. This is great because it means that your events will get seen by more people. You could then try to pick a few (I know that's easier said than done) and post about them in the feed.
This could mean sharing a sneak peek behind the scenes of your team preparing for the events to build some anticipation. It could be videos or images. It could be your colleague or even a member of the community who's really excited about the event and what they're hoping to learn or do during the event. Think about a short video clip of them talking about it.
Encourage event attendees to post about your events, you could come up with your own hashtags to track their posts. Your worksheet mentioned that giveaways worked really well for you, try to capitalize on that when you can to encourage more user-generated content about your events.
After events are over, you can reshare photos and videos that your attendees posted and even do a little recap.
This type of content is great for creating some fear of missing out for those who didn't make it.
All in all, I would suggest less direct promotion about these events, but content that gets people excited, gives them a sneak peek of something they might learn or get to do at the event, etc. Great work!
Thank you so much Stephanie. I am looking forward to implementing these very helpful strategies. I appreciate you getting back to me and giving me a very detailed response!
