If you've spent any length of time on the Constant Contact Community, chances are you have come across posts from any one member of the Community Team. But, who are these enigmatic folks? What are their roles in the Community, what do their days look like, and what do they do when they aren't bouncin' around the different boards? We thought it was time to pull back the curtain of mystery surrounding these forces of nature. Without further ado, let's meet Abigail_S!
What do you do at CTCT?
I am our Community Program Manager! I spearhead a lot of our engagement initiatives, manage our community coaches, and write engaging content to keep everyone connected and informed! I’m also working on revamping the group experience in the community so you can connect with experts in your field.
"When I'm not working, you can find me..."
Paddle boarding, teaching spin classes, or exploring local cafes & breweries!
What's something non-work-related that you're proud of accomplishing in the last year or so?
I bought a house before I hit 25 and it has been an incredibly humbling experience. Over the past couple of years, I've now gained a deeper understanding of myself, particularly in how I handle stress, how my work ethic and drive manifest, and how to live minimally—a transition that has been a significant culture shock in itself. Remodeling the entire house has been a challenging yet rewarding journey, pushing me to grow in ways I never anticipated.
What's your favorite small business?
I have so many! I love any of my local coffee shops like Bonhoeffer’s, Riverwalk, and O’Shea’s. I also brewery hop frequently, so some honorable mentions are Epigram, Spyglass, and Liquid Therapy.
What's your go-to GIF or meme?
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
The ability to communicate with animals.
What's the best thing about being part of the Constant Contact Community?
I love being able to connect with everyone, learn about our customer’s small businesses, and point them in the right direction to elevate their marketing!
What is your favorite product feature?
I love being able to have automations in place. It's great to have things planned out ahead of time, making this feature a true life-saver for anyone.
Do you have a favorite tip to share with users?
Social media is huge for your marketing. Don’t just post for the sake of posting, but post with intention and make it your own aesthetic!
