Mashery no longer supplying app secret when creating an application

When registering an application in Mashery, it used to display the API key along with the secret. We've been trying to register applications both yesterday and today (with three different Mashery and Contant Contact accounts) and only the api key is displayed - no secret to be found anywhere. We need the secret for the oauth 2 hand-shaking for the program we are trying to develop. Are we doing something wrong? Did something change?

Re: Mashery no longer supplying app secret when creating an application

Hello Russ,

In order to see the Secret for your API Keys in Mashery, you need to go to the API Keys tab, and then choose Keys from the options for that page. Once you are there, you should be presented with a list of keys and associated secrets.
In addition, here is a drect link to this page: https://constantcontact.mashery.com/apps/mykeys

If you are still having issues with obtaining the Secret for your API key, please send us an email at webservices@constantcontact.com with your mashery username and the effected API key so that we can get you that information.

Sincerely,

Re: Mashery no longer supplying app secret when creating an application

Hello Russ,

Thank you for providing the information. In order to keep your API Key information private so that others cannot attempt to create an application from your key, I have removed the information from your post. I have reported this issue so that it can be addressed and corrected.

In the meantime, I am able to provide you the consumer secret for your API key, but I will need you to send an email to webservices@constantcontact.com so that I can do so outside of the public forums. When you send the email, please make sure to provide the API key in the email so that we can verify the key before sending the information.

Thanks,

Elijah G.
