Background Colors

I would like to be able to do a text box. I would like to be able to choose background colors for text boxes. I would like my work to get saved automatically every 5 minutes or so. I switched from to Constant Contact recently and am disappointed that these are not offered. I could do all of this in.

Hi @InkaR, you can resize images by dragging on any corner of the image. We plan on adding more explicit features to change background colors in time. Thanks for your feedback!

Hello Constant Contact Team! The new builder is very helpful for me to design quick mobile responsive emails. However, I am slightly disappointed in the level of customization in the different elements. In the old builder, I could change the background color of a specific section for example. The new builder limits you to the inner and outer color selections. Also, I MISS MY BACKGROUND IMAGES!!! In the old builder, I could html code in a background image in an email. This created some awesome designs. I know having this capability in the new builder would be huge.

It would be helpful to have the ability to change the background color of individual text blocks without changing the overall color makeup of the flyer. Currently, I have to make the text block in an external program with the colored background I want and then import it as a JPEG into Constant Contact. The problem with that process is that it turns out blurry and the text is not as crisp as the text within the rest of the flyer that was created using the text block feature.

It would be great if blocks were independent of each other so that you could change the background color for each one. Yes, I know that would get nutty from a visual standpoint, but it would be nice in some instances to have the option.

I want to put an image in the background, and apparently I can only do so by changing the one already there. The thing is non of the template offered have a background image...
