The New Email Platform Suggestions

Couple of suggestions on the new layout editor for Emails:

When you make bulleted items and want to indent the following rows, such as:

• Item 1
  • List of stuff

It will not allow you to do that...

Also, we prefer the way it used to be that you could insert pictures into the text boxes. It makes it a lot easier to lay out the email.

Just our thoughts, after a million years of Constant Contact experience.

Our development team is currently working to replace the back end text editor with Quill.  Quill is a free open source WYSIWYG editor that is extremely customizable and extensible.  The flexibility we will gain in switching over to Quill will allow us to add features our customers are asking for.

This work is currently planned to be completed in Q3, and one of the first things that will be addressed will be the ability to add nested bullets.

We will be sure to update this thread with more information when it's available.

This feature is now available in our third generation editor! Next time you login and create you'll be able to use tab to indent bullet points.
