If I choose to sign up for SMS texting is there an easy way I can send my customers and email and they can click on a link to sign up for the SMS texting? as I haven't collected phone numbers but I do you email campaigns regularly?

You can explicitly add an SMS opt-in to landing page sign up forms, and also include a field for them to enter their phone number. If you already have a landing page form, then for your existing email contacts, you can update that form and include it in your emails as a text, image, or button link. If you want to have the SMS opt-in for existing email contacts as a separate thing, then you can create a new LP, and link to that one instead.
