I am able to copy the codes (inline and universal) from Constant Contact. I am able to locate where I want it on my website. I don't see how to paste/embed it in the chosen location. I don't see any type of paste icon to click.

If your website is built / hosted through a known provider, you may be able to find the information you need in this article on installing inline/pop up forms. Otherwise, you'd need to reach out to your website host's support for the specific way you'd need to add external code to your site.
