Guidelines for using SMS for non-marketing texts to teens

Can my non-profit send group text messages to High School students, if I obtain their permission to send them texts/SMS?

These are NOT marketing texts, but just announcements about events our group is hosting.  All recipients are members (or their parents are members) of this non-profit group.

Thanks

Hello @Sharon_Manuel ,

I'm not aware of any age-restricted aspect of SMS marketing in general. Any phone number that has given you consent to message them would be viable. Based on the content you're suggesting, it wouldn't fall under any prohibited content policy for SMS or our systems overall, so you're good to go on that front as well.
