Is it possible to insert personalized info (mail merge) onto a photgraph.

From my understanding, no it wouldn't be possible. If you're just trying to do something like a pre-generated email as part of a mailto: link - that's possible. However a true mail merge wouldn't really work for adding to an image in the email builder.
