Registration form through CC on WordPress (using Elementor) -- can it add to list automatically?

Hello, I am using CC forms on WordPress via Elementor. I have a list set up in CC and at the bottom of the CC form on the website, I have selected that list. At the bottom of the Form Setup, there is an option: Allow Subscribers to Select from Lists (Select at least one) -- and I have chosen the appropriate list. Is this the way to do this? I don't see any other place to make the selection. Is it possible to have it automatically populate on a Contact List in CC when they register? Thanks Tiffany
