As far as setting up "sublists," you'd ultimately just be setting up either another list or a segment. Generally speaking, if there's a segmentable element between all the contacts that will be on the sublist (e.g. "On list A" AND "opened specific email"), then segmentation will generally be the way to go. Otherwise, if you already have the specific contacts in a spreadsheet, you can simply upload that and make a new list with a derivative name (e.g. "List A - Subgroup 1").
