Adding new contacts/email checks

With the changes to the site, adding customers now forces you to enter all the information before it tells you if they are already in the system. Is this a bug? In the past it would check email before you enter.

This is not currently present in the newer contact import system that your account is on. That said, I would generally advise using the type/paste multiple or file import methods for quicker importing, especially if you're handling multiple contacts at a time. If a contact already exists, they'll just update any existing contact fields based on the new info provided.
