The RSVP block in CC is supposed to give you a calendar invite in the confirmation email correct? is there something manually that I need to do to get this to show up? It is not showing up in the confirmation email.

RSVP blocks don't trigger confirmation emails, only the page after selecting an option. These do not include calendar links.
If you're referring to an event, this is included on the confirmation page and email:
