Email vs. "snail mail"

Especially at this time of year, "snail mail" mailboxes are filled with ads and appeals from merchants and non-profits.

So it makes sense that you step up your marketing during this season, too, to get the attention of your audience, doesn't it?.

The benefit of email marketing is that many "snail mail" print items get discarded before they've even been opened, whereas an email, whether opened or unopened stays in the inbox until it's deleted — and that may be days, weeks, or even months from when it's received.

So send that email to compete with the print mail, so you get the visibility you deserve.
